Why Field Sales Works

Retail is still a relationship business at store level. A rep who visits regularly builds the kind of trust with a store manager or category lead that gets a brand better shelf position, faster reorder decisions and early warning of stock or listing issues – none of which a phone call or an email achieves as reliably. Field sales is where the deepest, highest-value store relationships in a brand’s network get built.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many stores can a field rep cover in a week?

It depends on store density, drive time between locations and how much work each visit requires - a metro pharmacy run looks very different from a regional grocery circuit. We size the coverage model to your actual store list rather than quoting a generic number.

Do I still need field sales if I already have a distributor?

Often yes. A distributor moves stock into a warehouse; field sales is what gets that stock ranged, displayed correctly and reordered at store level. The two roles are complementary, not overlapping.

Can field sales support a national rollout?

Yes - coverage scales up or down with the campaign, from a single-state launch push to permanent national coverage, without you needing to build an internal team first.
